I had a great time in Egypt but now I am packing my belongings and heading to Greece! I am super excited to go to Greece, but I am missing my family very much. I will send them a postcard when I get to Greece! I am heading to the airport and waiting for the plane to arrive.
Ah, finally the plane arrives after 2 hours and I jump on the plane. We lifted out of the air and we were off! I watched carts of yummy food go by and I realized that I haven't eaten at all today, so I ask the lady, "Hello, um can I have a shrimp salad?"
"Yes, would you like anything to drink?" she replied
"Yes can I have a Coca Cola please?"
"Yep, I will be right back with your drink.
"Thank you!" I said quickly.
The lady went to the back of the plane to get my drink. I looked out the plane and I saw a superior amount of clouds in the sky. The lady tapped my shoulder and gave me my drink, she quickly walked away to the next order, I sipped my drink and dozed off into the relaxing seat.
I awoke 4 hours later and my flight was almost done, the flight attendant called out into the speaker, "We have 20 minutes until landing." I waited and waited and finally we got there. I stepped out into the warm dusty air, and walked a bit till I found a "Fresh Fruits and Vegetables" sign. I walked up and picked out some fresh vegetables until the farmer came up and tapped my shoulder and said in a Greek accent, "Hello miss, do you need any help finding anything?
"Um, I don't think so, but thanks." I replied.
I turned and looked for some more vegetables, and he started blabbing about some information like: "Most people in Ancient Greece survived by farming. Farming wasn't easy in mountainous land, in the plains and valleys the land was rocky and water was scarce. No rivers flow through Greece, it rains mostly in the winter months." The farmer finally finished.
"Wow that was some great information!" I said
I went to go pay for my vegetables, and then left to find a hotel.
I found one and got into my room and cooked my fresh vegetables for dinner and watched "The Ancient History of Greece" channel and finally went to sleep after my delicious dinner.
Great post. How was the airplane food? I liked all the info you put in this post.
