Since I had such a wonderful time on my safari, I have decided to stay in Ghana for one more day and see how the life style is, also TTI has assigned me to ask people if they like their country, and what they don't like. Just those types of questions will help me figure out more about Ghana. So lets start our adventure to the cities of Ghana!
When I finally found a city to explore in, I wondered what city it was. I needed to find someone to ask. So now I have another mission: to find someone to talk to about what city it was. I went walking down all the streets looking for at least someone. It was pretty weird. I couldn't find anyone. Where could they be? There were certainly no cars that were zooming along. I walked even more to the heart of the city to hear a loud booming sound. It really scared me getting closer and closer to it. It was loud and obnoxious. I turned the corner, and looked up amazed..
It was a soccer stadium! Soccer is really big in Ghana so I guess about everyone goes to their games. I wandered in, there were a few loose people looking for waters and food. I walked up to the lady that was nearest to me and said, "Hi, um can you tell me what city this is?"
"Yes dear, this is the wonderful capitol city named Accra."
"Ohhh! Thanks so much! I am a new-" BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Both me and the woman looked where the sound was coming from. "Man,they must be dominating the game! But anyways, what I was saying was I am a newcomer, and I don't really know anything about Ghana."
"Oh, I see." The woman said.
"Do you mind if I can ask you some important questions?" I said taking her to a private quiet place (the bathroom. Ew (pretty stinky)).
"What do you want to ask me?" The woman said nervously acting like I'm taking her hostage.
"Just a couple of questions, it's nothing serious. It is for work I do." I said calmly.
"Um, okay..."
"Okay, first question. What do you like about your country?" I said.
She took a couple of seconds to think then blurted out, "Well, I LOVE the soccer, everyone in Ghana has at least been to one game. We are all supporters of our sports. But I also love all the nature, we have fantastic animals that are just so amazing."
"Yes I know, I went on a safari yesterday."
"Oh awesome, you probably learned about a lot of awesome stuff."
"Yes. Second question. What makes Ghana a good place to live?"
"Well all the peacefulness is great."
"What do you mean by that?" I questioned.
"Well there isn't a lot of you know like human trafficking and a bunch of honking cars."
"Oh cool. Last question. What don't you like about Ghana?"
"I don't like how we don't have a lot of supplies for children."
Oh, that's sad." I said thinking that I should make a difference.
Awesome. I got all the information I needed and now I just need to thank the lady. "Thanks again for answering all my questions, you were a great help in my work and just learning about Ghana."
"Oh your very welcome!" She said with a smile. We walked out together from the bathroom and walked into the stadium to watch the rest of the soccer match. You could just see the team had to much potential. It was really fun to watch. Again, what a great way to end my last day in Ghana. Man, Ghana is freaking awesome!

M6: My Safari Around Ghana!
Since I was already in West Africa, I have decided to go to Ghana and take a safari around there to check out the nature, and other interesting facts! I am so excited! I took my car and zoomed off into Ghana. When I landed in a forestry area, the first thing I saw was this HUGE river off in the distance. I started walking towards it hoping that is where my destination will be.
As I got to the wooden dock, I was sweating so much. It was so hot out. I literally was out of breath from just walking a couple miles. It was around 80 or 90 degrees. I was so hot, I was trying to distract myself from thinking about it, so I walked down onto the dock and asked the man that was tying up his canoe, "Hello sir, um, I would like to go on a safari!"
"Oh! You would like to go on a safari!? That's awesome, you came to the right man and place to go on a great safari!"
"Oh awesome! Thank you!" I said excitedly. Then the man started unwrapping the rope that was tied on his boat. We got in the boat and started down the river.
"Hello ma'am, my name is Adusa, I will be you safari instructor, we will be heading down this river called the Volta River. It is the largest river in Ghana." That's interesting I thought. As we started heading down the river a little more. I looked around at all the trees that were surrounding us, I looked a little closer because I saw something move. "I can see that you are looking at the trees, can you see the scurrying 'branches?'" Adusa said silently like there is something we are hiding from. "Those are snakes, we like to stay away from those because they are very dangerous. The two most dangerous snakes in Ghana is the Cobra and the Black Mamba. They like to hide in trees because they usually blend in so they can catch a bird or squirrel."
"Oh, very interesting!" I said slightly nervous, trying to move as far back into the boat as I can trying not to get eaten by a snake.
As we got further down the river I saw some awesome animal and plant life. The most interesting plant I saw was the Baobab tree, it was so interesting looking, it was like I have never seen a tree before. "The Baobab tree is sometimes called an upside-down tree because of its interesting appearance. It looks as if it was upside-down, that's how they came up with the nickname." Adusa said earlier. "Since there aren't any elephants along this river, I will share some of my information with you anyways." Adusa said smiling.
"Well thank you!" I said excited because I love elephants.
"Elephants are the large animals in the Savanna besides lions. Grown elephants drink about sixty gallons (225 liters) of water a day."
"Wow." I said amazed.
We started to head back to the dock. I made sure to look at everything I needed to see and "glued" it in my brain. I really liked this adventure. Maybe this is my favorite one. The best part was that my instructor was great, I got lucky that I didn't get a buffoon. The cool thing about Ghana is that they have a lot of nature, unlike the nature in Florida. They take you on boats if you want a safari instead of going around on a mini golf cart around the busy polluted city. It makes me really appreciate nature. We got to the dock, sadly it was over. I felt sad. "Thank you SO much for all the information and the site seeing. I loved all of it."
"Oh, your very welcome."
"Well, I have to go. Thanks again." I said looking one last time off in the distance. Simply beautiful. What an awesome way to end your day in Ghana, don't you think?

M5: I Love Exploring!
Well, to start off a new day, I decided to go to an ancient city called Jenne-jeno. I've always wondered and dreamed about going there for a long time, so this is my chance. I just want to explore the city and learn new stuff about it. I took my magical flying car I hid in the trees back in Islam and zoomed off into Africa. I knew I got there because there was a lot of people walking around and there weren't a lot of cities near by either. I landed my car a couple miles away from my destination and started walking to the city.
When I got there, there was a big 10 foot tall circular wall. I couldn't find a way in, so I walked around the whole outside. Finally I found it. I glided into the city with my mouth wide open. It was actually really cool, all the houses were circular and dome-like. They looked like they were built from bent poles and woven mats. I remember when I was in middle school, we had History Alive books, and the only thing I remember from the Africa chapter was that the Jenne-jeno section said that later on the houses would be made of mud blocks. "OH! I must have came here way before that! I am here when the city was first becoming busy!" I said aloud (probably looking like an idiot, talking to myself).
I walked into the heart of the town to find a large what looked like a trading center. What really caught my eye was the beads. There were really beautiful and colorful beads all laying on a cloth on the ground. I yearned to have a necklace or something with those beads! I decided to get one, I payed the lady and turned around to see the other sales. I could see that there was a lot of people selling fruits, vegetables, beads, leather working, and weaving. All of this was pretty, the colors were miraculous. One man was waving anxiously at me for some reason. "Hello, Hello! Come here! Do you want to buy some fresh fish! I just caught it from the Nigar River!" The man said excitedly. I looked at him and then turned around avoiding him because I didn't have a lot of money and I don't like fish.
As I kept walking, I heard pounding coming from somewhere. I turned around and saw that it was the man that was trying to sell me the fish. "Oh, no" I said under my breath. He finally catched me and said, "I was trying to sell you my fish!"
"Yes, I know, I don't like fish."
"Oh, well, I have a very poor family..." He said sadly to try to make me give in. "And every little dollar counts..." I waited there for a while just looking at him. Then I indulged.
"Fine." I said with disappointment that I gave in. We walked back to his stand and I got the fish. As I started walking back down the road I said under my breath sarcastically, "Great, now I have fish that I don't want, and no money. That's just great."
It was getting dark, I didn't really know where to stay. Which probably means that I have to sleep outside. People were still out and selling still even though it's like eight o'clock. I also had nothing to eat all day, I looked down in my hand where that slimy dead fish lay there, I frowned and new that I would have to eat it. I found a big open fire outside someone's home and just cooked it there for about a couple minutes. I took it out of the fire and took a large bite hoping it wouldn't taste bad, but of course it did. The texture was slimy and wet and gross. To get my mind of the fish I looked up at the sky and saw that it was beautiful, stars were everywhere just lighting up the sky. "Now that is a good way to end your first day in Africa." I said with a smile. "Except for the fish and sleeping outside part." I included.

M4: SAND!
I ended up in a hot desert. I don't know how I got there. All I remember is that I came home from that dinner last night and dozed off. It was really hot and I was confused. I tore off the sleeves of my long sleeve rock-band T-shirt, I suddenly felt better. I looked around and all I saw was dried up vegetation and far in the distance I see what looked like little ants. I squinted, they were all wiggly because of heat waves. They were heading my way but I couldn't quite see what or who they were.
"Ohhhh, I know what those little ants are! They are a caravan!" I said to my self. They started getting closer, every time they took a step forward I could finally make out about how many there were. There were 4 camels and about 15 people. I ran their way hoping they had water. I finally caught up with them, they looked at me confused, I knew they don't speak my language so I made a gesture of 'do you have any water, because I am really thirsty'. I don't know what they thought I said but they pulled out a knife. "Woah! No, no" I said while backing up. I gave up. Maybe they were headed to a city that had water, so I just followed them, to see where they will end up. I noticed that the wind started picking up, because sand kept getting in my eyes. I heard a scream and tried looking through my teary eyes to see what happened. Everyone started running for their lives, because of what looked like a sandstorm.
Yep, I was right. it was a sandstorm. I started running after someone so I can hide with them or something. There was sand flying everywhere, big clouds of sand was whipping my face, which stung really bad. There was a tall sand dune we were running to. The man dove into the dune, trying to protect himself, so I dove too. We waited there for a long time, the wind kept getting wilder and wilder. I have no clue where anyone went. I closed my eyes for the whole time. Waiting for the storm to be over.
I felt no sand hitting my body, I thought that was a sign to come out of my uncomfortable position. I stood upright letting my back stretch out. I looked around, I didn't see any people, but I just saw all their food supplies scattered all over. The man that was in the dune with me got up to go look for his people. I followed him, and we walked down the hill. People were looming out of their hiding places looking for anyone alive. I decided to help them out with picking all their stuff up, so I wandered around looking for items. Then I saw my aunt just standing out in the distance, I frowned, "What the heck is going on here?!" I said aloud. I have no idea why she would be here, so I just ran to her to give her a hug but right when I almost put my arms around her she vanished.
"What just happened?" I thought. Then a huge camel, the one from the caravan came running to me out of no where. I thought it was running back to his people but it was actually running straight at me. It knocked me down. I awoke instantly. I was back at my cottage, in my bed, panting. I looked around confused and noticed it was just a dream. "Wow that was a strange dream, I must of read too much of my History Alive book I brought from home." I said aloud while giggling. I decided to go back to sleep with the thought of how weird this whole day was.

M3: The Reservation
Since I recovered from the Bubonic Plague, I want to do something fun. Before I go out, I just kind of want to relax around my cottage, and veg. I read my magazine I brought from the past and read about the top foods that were in the medieval times. I thought it was kind of funny, because I'm in the past reading about the future. After I read the whole magazine, I got my things and headed out the door to the medieval town.
It was about 2 o'clock the time I got to the town. There weren't many people out because they all died two weeks ago from the plague. But there was still people out selling fruits and vegetables. I was looking at all the signs above the building doors, which showed the items they were selling. I walked along the side of the street, where I saw a shoe sculpted on one of the signs. I got interested and took a step in, but someone grabbed me from my shoulder and yanked me away from the building. "Well, hello there miss-" I interrupted, "What do you think you're doing?!"
"Oh, I am sorry miss, I just wanted to invite you to a dinner party with my family, because you look quite different from the rest of us peasants." I looked at him kind of funny. Then realized that I was wearing all future clothes, and ya, I looked really different from everyone else.
"Um, well-" I couldn't say no, I thought, then carried on with my sentence. "I guess."
"Oh! Fantastic! Meet me and my family at 7 o'clock tonight. Go up to the end of this street, take a left and when you take that left go right in the skinniest unique building you will see. See you there!" The man said while shaking my hand very uncontrollably. Then I walked away very confused.
I actually went out to the town to go shopping, but instead of coming back to my cottage with shoes, and vegetables, I came back with a dinner reservation. I am not sure on how I feel about it. It's weird to just invite a stranger into your home, but oh well, I haven't made any new friends here. So I guess it will be fun. I sit down on the couch, waiting for the time to go by. I picked up my magazine, and read for awhile. Finally, it was 6 o'clock. I got up, actually I was pretty excited. I got a pretty flowered dress on, and put my hair in a cute bun. Everything was in my hand when I walked out the door to a strangers home.
I walked up the stoned pathway of the man's home, hearing the echoing of my high heels hitting the ground. I knocked, and immediately the door opened, which caught me off guard. "Hello!! Hello! My dear, come inside!" The man yelled while he shoved me inside. I felt very squished because it was so narrow in there. It was only 1 story high and it only had 1 room. Everything was jam-packed. We sat down very quickly to eat. There was a wife, and 2 kids that didn't talk at all. They served me some bread and some kind of meat (I had no idea what it was, it kind of freaked me out.). "Why, thank you!" I said with pleasure.
"Oh, your very welcome. I have been making this bread for years. My great grandfather started a business of making home baked goods. It all started back in the day-" The man droned. It was honestly really boring, so I so zoned out and focused on eating.
The man finished telling his story right before I finished eating. "Wow, that was interesting sir. I really enjoyed the food. it was fantastic." I said.
"Oh, well thanks. I spent literally the whole day on it."
"Oh-" I said a little guilty. "Thanks so much for inviting me, It was a pleasure to be here. Seeing how dwellers live is cool."
"Yes, there is good and bad, but mostly bad. We have to work for pretty much everything we do." He said kind of snobbish.
"Yes, um, well I must go, it is getting late. I am so happy I came. I will maybe see you sometime later. Goodbye!" I said with a smile.
"Bye!"
I walked out the small room feeling stuffed with good but also feeling a little guilty for not listening to his story about bread.

M2: Oh, no. I don't feel so good.
Well, I woke up today feeling like something bad is going to happen. I don't know why, it just does. I kind of had a feeling in my stomach to not go outside. But I ignored it. I got my things together to go get some vegetables, not knowing there was something suspicious going on outside. I got outside, it was a dark cloudy day. And the first thing that caught my eye was a man just laying there in the street. I thought he was homeless so I just walked away. Then I saw another person. I kneeled down and saw he was dead. I jumped away and screamed with frighten.
I was running away, as fast as I could. I've never seen a dead person before and I was scared. I asked a merchant why there is dead people and he said, "It's, it's the Bubonic Plague." Oh no, the Bubonic Plague was very contagious and it was a hazard. I kept walking cautiously around piles of dead people, just piled up. I was looking at what they died of. There was a lot of vomit everywhere, so maybe that was a symptom. I felt one dead lady's head and she felt like she had a fever. Crap. That was a bad idea touching her. I felt kind of itchy. And my muscles were cramped. I didn't feel so good. Shoot, I thought to myself, did I get the thing everyone is dying from?
I went to a merchant shop filled with books, to see if I could find some symptoms. I was matching up all the symptoms. I found the Bubonic Plague section. It said in the book that one of the symptoms was cramped muscles. Then it said a fever. And itchy behind the ears. I had all of those. Oh, man I have it. My stomach felt upset. I ran outside and threw up. "Ew." I said out loud. I decided to go back to my cottage, because I didn't know where to go. I didn't know what to do either, I just laid on my bed for a while, but I kept throwing up. I had a fever too, I was really hot. Well, since I have the plague, and I could die pretty soon, I guess I have to find a solution to get rid of it. So I got my senses together and walked out the door to find something to make me feel better.
I tried to go to the doctor's, but it wasn't open because they died too. My solution was to maybe put leaches on, but the only place to get leaches was from the doctor's. Maybe I need to be isolated from the outside world, and stay in my cottage. I was getting nervous. I stayed in my cottage for a long time. I closed all of my windows/curtains, locked down every little nook and cranny. I just laid in my bed, waiting and waiting.
I guess I must've fallen asleep, because I awoke feeling very groggy, it also felt like I was sleeping for a month. Surprisingly I felt a lot better. I honestly thought I was going to die, which was scary. I got my confidence together and stepped outside to see if anything has happened. I stepped outside, I didn't see any dead people. A breeze of wind hit my face, it was REALLY cold. Maybe the frost took over and killed all the fleas. Man, I was asleep for a long time. I guess I got rid of it, which doesn't make any sense because only some people lived from the plague. I guess I was one of those. I am very lucky to be alive, and I walked off through the streets to see if anyone was still alive.

M1: Back to Time Traverler's Incorporated!
Well, this summer was awesome! I hung out with Farley Mamba, and I finally got a boyfriend! If you didn't see my first post, I am happily in love with Justin Bieber! I am also very happy to be back in TTI and I am ready to travel to Medieval Europe! Gosh, I am so excited, I studied a bit about it and I learned what Monarchs, peasants, knights, and servants do! I have my bags packed and I left my very humdrum pet Mr.Fluffypants (my bunny that I found in the desert last year) at home with Justin. I got in my new flying car with my bags, and flew off into Europe.
That was a quick flight! I am now in Medieval Europe and looking around at all of these cool things out here! My first place I am going to check out is a Roman Catholic Church, I walked inside and the first thing I see is...GOLD. Man, there is so many carved statues and gold paintings on the walls. There are lots of draped green curtains hanging neatly on the enormous windows. I also notice that Roman Catholic Churches are huge! And of course there is lots of crosses, symbolizing Jesus. I felt like I have walked around the church enough and walked out into the bright sun.
I wondered around a bit more and when I moved closer and closer North, I kept hearing clinging sounds like two swords smashing into each other. When I walked around the corner of a big wall, I saw two men in shiny metal armor practicing there hitting skills with their swords. They were going back and forth hitting there swords together making the "CLING" sound. I would flinch everytime they did it. They would also make the sound of them going "UH" and "UMPH" because they were jumping and dodging the swords. I got sick of the clinging sound because it was hurting my ears so I left and wondered to the West to discover some more.
Now that I have that horrible noise out of my head, I could finally hear myself think. I was getting hungry. Since TTI wouldn't let me talk to anyone, I would have to figure out a way to get some food. If I couldn't ask for some, then I would just have to steal it. Okay, I found a little cart with a man selling vegetables. I hid behind a bush, and when he looked away I went for it. I grabbed an onion and ran. I kept running until I couldn't see the cart, I don't think he noticed. I felt very vicious about stealing. I hid behind a tall building and looked at the onion in disgust. I frowned and just took a bite. It was GROSS. Man, it was really gross, it was bitter, and crunchy. I started crying, well because it hurt my eyes. I ate the whole thing and I felt better but my breath stunk.
After I ate my onion, I decided to rent a cottage. I got in my cottage and it felt like home. There were cots (they are mini beds filled with straw and feathers), I was tired and I couldn't stand the taste in my mouth. I went outside to get some water from a well to brush my teeth. I brushed really good, so it was minty fresh. I got in my cot, it felt so good to be in a warm bed with my soft fluffy pillow.
