M6: My Safari Around Ghana!

Since I was already in West Africa, I have decided to go to Ghana and take a safari around there to check out the nature, and other interesting facts! I am so excited! I took my car and zoomed off into Ghana. When I landed in a forestry area, the first thing I saw was this HUGE river off in the distance. I started walking towards it hoping that is where my destination will be.
As I got to the wooden dock, I was sweating so much. It was so hot out. I literally was out of breath from just walking a couple miles. It was around 80 or 90 degrees. I was so hot, I was trying to distract myself from thinking about it, so I walked down onto the dock and asked the man that was tying up his canoe, "Hello sir, um, I would like to go on a safari!"
"Oh! You would like to go on a safari!? That's awesome, you came to the right man and place to go on a great safari!"
"Oh awesome! Thank you!" I said excitedly. Then the man started unwrapping the rope that was tied on his boat. We got in the boat and started down the river.
"Hello ma'am, my name is Adusa, I will be you safari instructor, we will be heading down this river called the Volta River. It is the largest river in Ghana." That's interesting I thought. As we started heading down the river a little more. I looked around at all the trees that were surrounding us, I looked a little closer because I saw something move. "I can see that you are looking at the trees, can you see the scurrying 'branches?'" Adusa said silently like there is something we are hiding from. "Those are snakes, we like to stay away from those because they are very dangerous. The two most dangerous snakes in Ghana is the Cobra and the Black Mamba. They like to hide in trees because they usually blend in so they can catch a bird or squirrel."
"Oh, very interesting!" I said slightly nervous, trying to move as far back into the boat as I can trying not to get eaten by a snake.
As we got further down the river I saw some awesome animal and plant life. The most interesting plant I saw was the Baobab tree, it was so interesting looking, it was like I have never seen a tree before. "The Baobab tree is sometimes called an upside-down tree because of its interesting appearance. It looks as if it was upside-down, that's how they came up with the nickname." Adusa said earlier. "Since there aren't any elephants along this river, I will share some of my information with you anyways." Adusa said smiling.
"Well thank you!" I said excited because I love elephants.
"Elephants are the large animals in the Savanna besides lions. Grown elephants drink about sixty gallons (225 liters) of water a day."
"Wow." I said amazed.
We started to head back to the dock. I made sure to look at everything I needed to see and "glued" it in my brain. I really liked this adventure. Maybe this is my favorite one. The best part was that my instructor was great, I got lucky that I didn't get a buffoon. The cool thing about Ghana is that they have a lot of nature, unlike the nature in Florida. They take you on boats if you want a safari instead of going around on a mini golf cart around the busy polluted city. It makes me really appreciate nature. We got to the dock, sadly it was over. I felt sad. "Thank you SO much for all the information and the site seeing. I loved all of it."
"Oh, your very welcome."
"Well, I have to go. Thanks again." I said looking one last time off in the distance. Simply beautiful. What an awesome way to end your day in Ghana, don't you think?
